v2014 – Map Snapshots & Mobile Update

This patch introduces exciting new features while addressing underlying technical improvements and bug fixes. A major highlight is the addition of map snapshots, enabling dynamic themes and seasonal content, with the winter season featuring a transformed Crendale. Mobile users will appreciate the enhanced visual fidelity with pixel-perfect rendering. Guild management receives an update with improved change tracking and member protection. Technical enhancements include protocol versioning for greater server-client compatibility and expanded scripting functionality. Various bug fixes address issues with pet targeting, iOS device interactions, and map rendering inconsistencies. The introduction of /room and /whoroom commands adds new social spaces for players, while expanded scripting events and functions empower map creators with greater customization options.

  • Fixed issue where pets would lose player targets when transitioning maps.

  • Added min/max protocol version which allows server version to be updated without client having to update as long as the protocol is still compatible.

  • Guild members can no longer be demoted if they are online and not on a safe map.
  • Resolved vitals text alignment issue on IOS devices (iPad/iPhone).
